Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Ordering & Delivery
Once you have fallen in love a little more with your dream dress it is time to get excited and begin your journey with House of Kartalia.
Online payments are made in full at check out. Once your order has been placed one of our online stylists will be in touch within days to confirm and discuss your order. Orders are not confirmed until contact with our online stylist has been made and any relevant documentation has been returned.
None of our designs are mass produced and all of our designs are handmade to order therefore we require a minimum of 6 months for your gown to be made. We also suggest you allow at least 2 months before your wedding for alterations.
For our spontaneous brides we may be able to accommodate shorter order times, this will be determined by a number of factors and may incur a rush fee if we can meet your request. Please
speak to us regarding your requirements. We try our best to accommodate the needs of all of our brides.
8 week lead times apply to all of our accessories.
Dresses, veils and accessories are posted to you in a House of Kartalia bridal box and we email you with the tracking number.
Delivery times provided are estimates only, House of Kartalia will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries.
Order Acceptance Policy
House of Kartalia has the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. Your receipt of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order nor does it confirm our offer to sell.
If for any reason we need to cancel your order we will make all reasonable attempts to contact you via the details supplied to us by you, monies will be refunded using the method received.
Items purchased through our site are for personal use only and cannot be used for commercial purposes.
We ship worldwide. International orders placed are priced in Australian Dollars. Orders shipped internationally will incur duties and tax charges which are not included in the price and are the responsibility of the buyer. Duties and taxes are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and tax free threshold, if it exists for goods imported into the destination country. More information on this can be obtained by contacting your local customs office.
All of our designs are made to order specifically for you to your closest matching standard size based from our size chart and to suit your height range therefore once your order has been processed we cannot accept change of mind or cancellations. In the very unfortunate circumstance you cancel your order you must still accept delivery of your items and we will do our best to offer advice on how to re-sell your gown to recuperate some of the cost.
If your order has not gone into production then you are welcome to change your order but we cannot refund.
If before you order you would like to see more photos of your design we can happily send you more images from our studio and behind the scenes.
Sizing & Alterations
At the time of ordering, your size is based on your measurements supplied to us by you. House of Kartalia will not be held responsible for any mismeasurements.
Our gowns are made to order not made to measure, we will confirm your closest matching size based from our size chart at the time of order. Brides therefore accept that the selected item(s) may not be a perfect fit. Everyone is different in shape and therefore alterations are likely to be required.
Alteration costs are additional and are the brides own responsibility. House of Kartalia is NOT responsible for any alterations including any alterations due to weight loss / gain.
House of Kartalia can arrange for a seamstress for alterations but will NOT take responsibility over the process and cost structure.
If you have placed your order well in advance to your wedding date and are concerned about weight change please contact us as we may be able to alter your measurements so long as your order has not already gone into production, if your order is already in production then this request will unfortunately not be viable.
Faulty Gowns & Returns
All of our designs are made to order specifically for you to your closest matching standard size based from our size chart and to suit your height range therefore we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
Once you have received your order we encourage you to try it in on as soon as possible without make-up, lotions, deodorant or fake-tan.
All items undergo strict quality control and are thoroughly inspected prior to being shipped out for delivery. In the very unlikely case there should be a fault with your order we will need to be notified within 48hrs after receiving your order with photographic evidence. The item will need to be returned to us in the original packaging at your cost within 14 days for Australian brides and 21 days for international brides for further evaluation. In the event we find there has been a fault from our end and the item has not been washed, worn or poorly handled you will be refunded your full purchase price and your shipping costs reimbursed. We will assist you as best we can thereafter. We will however not be liable for any further implications and costs in finding a suitable replacement.
Please note we can only cover costs if the fault is brought to our attention within the specified timeframe and providing the fault is confirmed to be from our end.
Photos are taken of all items prior to shipment for insurance purposes therefore if any intentional damage is made to the items in order to receive a refund we will be aware of this. If damage has occurred during the shipping process then the shipping company will be liable for these expenses.
Defects such as minor loss of beadwork will not be accepted as a manufacturing fault. Beadwork is extremely delicate and needs to be handled with the utmost care. All our beaded garments come with replacement beads in the event that these may need to be replenished.
All our items are hand made to order and therefore might vary slightly from images presented on our website, each and every item will be slightly unique in their own way be it very minor. We will not accept returns for slight variations in any of the designs.
For hygiene purposes we do not accept any returns on hair pieces.
Please use bridal professional dry cleaners only. House of Kartalia is not responsible for any faults, mishaps or damages to your gown caused by third parties.
